Penn E&R, in its Doylestown, PA office, is seeking an entry-level Civil Engineer on a hybrid schedule. You will engage in a broad range of office- and field-based tasks across market sectors, supporting project teams and clients.

The role emphasizes practical design, site plans, and hydrology/hydraulic analyses, with opportunity to gain hands-on experience and earn your EIT license.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Engineer In Training license.
• 0 to 3 years of civil engineering experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Prepare site plans and erosion/sediment control plans.
• Perform hydrology and hydraulic drainage calculations.
• Assist with stormwater management design.
• Produce land development/subdivision plans.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients on proposals.
• Utilize GIS software for project localization.

We have an exciting role available for an Entry Level Civil Engineer in our Doylestown, PA office (open to a hybrid work-from-home schedule).You will perform a wide range of tasks across all of Penn E&R’s market sectors in both office-based and field-based assignments.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Engineer In Training license.
• 0 to 3 years of civil engineering experience.
• Schooling and/or work experience in the following is a plus:
  • Hydrology and hydraulics
  • Erosion and sediment controls
  • Stormwater management controls
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • ARCGIS

You will gain practical work experience including:

• Preparation of site plans, erosion and sediment control plans, post-construction stormwater management plans, and land development/subdivision plans.
• Hydrology and hydraulic drainage calculations.
• Erosion and sediment control design.
• Stormwater management design and calculations.
• Post-Construction Stormwater Management design.
• AutoCAD/Civil 3D and standard drafting techniques and applications with experience in the preparation of the following:
  • Creating 3-D surfaces
  • Grading plans
  • Profiles/cross-sections
  • Pipe networks and corridors
• Working with Project Managers to coordinate with clients and prepare proposals.
• Geographic Information System (GIS) software.
