Job summary

Atwell, LLC in the Reno metro area seeks a Civil Engineer EIT to support project teams by leading design tasks and addressing engineering issues across development projects.

You will develop proficiency in civil engineering principles while collaborating with project managers, team members, and clients, using AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and 2–4 years' experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2–4 years of civil engineering experience, with leading design of development projects preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Grading Design, Technical Writing, 3-D Modeling, MS Office, and Plan Interpretation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with project teams and clients to prepare project documents and proposals.
• Draft, review, and finalize project deliverables including: Site plans, Engineering reports, Cost estimates, Project schedules, Permit applications, Due diligence reports.
• Make edits and modifications to plans based on client and agency feedback.
• Research local/state zoning requirements for properties and projects.
• Conduct site visits and field assignments.
• Analyze site survey data and consider development factors.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to complete assignments efficiently and according to quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients, municipalities, and agencies under the direction of the Project Manager.
• Update Project Manager and Team Leader on workload status.
• Apply fundamental engineering concepts to practical situations.
