Job summary

Atwell, LLC, a leading engineering and construction services firm, seeks a Civil Engineer EIT to join our growing team in Fort Lauderdale. You will prepare documents, draft site plans, and finalize reports while collaborating with clients and agencies under the Project Manager’s guidance.

The role requires 2–4 years of civil engineering experience, proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 2–4 years of civil engineering experience, development project design preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Grading Design, Technical Writing, 3‑D Modeling, MS Office, and Plan Interpretation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Partner with project teams and clients to prepare project documents and proposals.
• Draft, review, and finalize project deliverables including: site plans, engineering reports, cost estimates, project schedules, permit applications, due diligence reports.
• Make edits and modifications to plans based on client and agency feedback.
• Research local/state zoning requirements for properties and projects.
• Conduct site visits and field assignments.
• Analyze site survey data and consider development factors.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to complete assignments efficiently and according to quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients, municipalities, and agencies under the direction of the Project Manager.
• Update Project Manager and Team Leader on workload status.
• Apply fundamental engineering concepts to practical situations.
