EMH&T in Columbus, OH is seeking a Civil Engineer (EI) to join our Public Works team. You will work under the guidance of experienced Engineers and Project Managers who provide mentorship and support throughout your career development.

You will prepare conceptual plans, exhibits, and plan sets, perform drainage analysis, and develop design calculations while collaborating with team members and maintaining EMH&T drafting standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 0-4 years experience including internships or co-op experiences.
• Exposure to engineering consulting firm environment.

EMH&T is currently seeking a Civil Engineer (EI) to join our Public Works team located in Columbus, OH.

Our EIs work under the guidance of experienced Engineers and Project Managers who provide mentorship and support throughout your career development.

Responsibilities

Work includes preparing conceptual plans, exhibits, and plan sets. May include drainage analysis, preparing surfaces, line work and contour drawings from survey data points; developing plan and profile drawings and details, grading, utility plans, storm sewers, roadways, required easements, access drives, parking and more, in accordance with local zoning standards and internal EMH&T drafting standards.

You may be responsible for planning and organizing workflow, coordinating and overseeing work prepared by others, developing design calculations and subsequent plan details and specifications, as well as assisting with plan reviews and modifications.
