Job summary

ERG is seeking a Civil Engineer to support the planning, design, and execution of facility and infrastructure projects in the Washington, DC metro area. This full-time position requires frequent on-site involvement and collaboration with engineers, architects, and project managers.

The ideal candidate will hold a Civil Engineering degree, experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, strong communication skills, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance as a U.S. citizen.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience developing or reviewing engineering drawings, specs, calculations, and technical reports.
• Must currently hold or be able to obtain DoD Secret-level security clearance.
• U.S. citizen required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, design, and engineering of facility and site improvement projects.
• Develop and review civil engineering plans, specifications, calculations, and technical documents.
• Assist with site layouts, grading, drainage, utilities, paving, and other civil infrastructure.
• Prepare engineering calculations, cost estimates, reports, and design documentation.
• Review contractor submittals and construction plans for compliance with project requirements.
• Assist with evaluating existing facilities and developing repair, renovation, upgrade recommendations.
