Job summary

ERG seeks an experienced Senior Civil Design Engineer to develop civil designs for renovations and upgrades to existing buildings at Naval Support Facility Indian Head, MD. The role is fulltime and onsite, with responsibilities spanning design packages, calculations, and cost estimates, plus coordinating with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a PE license, 8+ years of civil engineering experience, and expertise in IBC/UFC/NFPA/ASCE standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years experience required, 10+ years preferred.
• Must have a PE license or be actively pursuing licensure.
• Proficient at completing facility design services and supporting the review of designs for compliance with code and energetic manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop civil designs for renovations and upgrades to existing buildings.
• Prepare design packages including calculations, drawings, specs, and cost estimates for renovations.
• Conduct technical reviews to ensure compliance with building codes and end-user requirements.
• Provide technical input to proposal development for renovation projects.
• Manage design process from concept through delivery of the design package.
