The ideal candidate holds a BS in civil engineering, a Utah PE license or eligibility within 6 months, and 4–7 years designing streets and highways, with proficiency in MicroStation and OpenRoads

Qualifications

• Ability to work with engineers and technicians.
• Background in highway design helpful.

Role and responsibilities

• Perform roadway design and modeling utilizing Microstation and OpenRoads Designer.
• Lead and manage tasks on projects of various sizes
• Work with experienced designers and project managers as well as collaborating with other disciplines and subconsultants to deliver projects
• Primarily working on projects in Utah with opportunities to support regional projects,
• Efficiently communicate and partner with peers, senior staff, and clients.

Required Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Utah Professional Engineer licensedor the abilityto obtain within 6 months.
• 4 - 7 years’ experience in the design of streets and highways in accordance with local, state and/or federal regulations.
• Ability to effectively work with other engineers and technicians.
• A background in highway design will be helpful in this role
• Experience in CADD utilizing Microstation and OpenRoads Designer
