Job summary

Genuine Search Group in Richmond, VA is seeking a licensed Civil Project Engineer to lead commercial and residential land development from concept through construction. The ideal candidate has a PE license and a degree in civil engineering, plus experience with urban site planning and AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

Civil Project Engineer (Commercial & Residential Land Development)

We are seeking a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) to join our growing Civil Engineering team. This position is ideal for an experienced civil engineer with a strong background in commercial site development and residential subdivision design who enjoys working on projects from concept through construction. The successful candidate will play a key role in project planning, design, client coordination, and permitting while collaborating with architects, landscape architects, and other design professionals.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with municipal, mixed-use, retail, office, healthcare, or multifamily developments.
• Familiarity with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.
