United Staffing Associates is seeking a licensed Civil Engineer to lead federally funded and contracted projects from planning to closeout in a Direct Hire role.
The position requires 2–4 years of civil engineering experience, PE licensure, and proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Travel and site visits are possible.
Employment Type: Full-time, direct hire, exempt
Salary Range: $135,000-$150,000 annually, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.; occasional extended hours or weekend work may be required

The salary range represents the compensation the client reasonably expects to pay for this position. Actual compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, skills, and other job-related factors.
Our client is seeking a licensed Civil Engineer to provide technical, design, preconstruction, project-development, and leadership support for federally funded and federally contracted projects.
This position will manage projects from early planning and feasibility through design, construction, and closeout. The Civil Engineer will oversee engineering work, budgets, schedules, permitting, regulatory compliance, construction quality, project documentation, and multidisciplinary teams.
Projects may include roads, bridges, utilities, site development, public works, and other infrastructure improvements.

This position is primarily office-based and requires regular use of computers and engineering software. Frequent visits to construction zones, infrastructure sites, and outdoor project locations are also required.
The successful candidate must be comfortable working around changing weather conditions, uneven terrain, active construction, and required personal protective equipment. Occasional travel to remote or multiple project locations may be necessary.
The position may involve extended sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, operating a vehicle, and occasionally lifting more than 20 pounds. The successful candidate must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
