Dewberry is seeking a Civil Engineer to join its Owings Mills, MD office on a full‑time basis. The role focuses on moving projects from concept through final design, through construction issuance and as‑built documentation, with responsibilities spanning stormwater, utilities, and transportation design.
Ideal candidates hold a Maryland PE or can obtain one within 6 months, have 10+ years of site/civil experience, and are proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and hydraulic modeling.
Dewberry has an immediate full‑time opening for a Civil Engineer in the Owings Mills (Baltimore), Maryland office. The selected candidate will become part of a growing team that practices total project consulting and provides comprehensive services to a variety of commercial utility and energy infrastructure clients.
This position requires engineering knowledge and breadth/depth of experience capable of moving projects from concept through final design, issuance for construction, and as‑built documentation. The candidate must have a good understanding of public agency requirements and a successful track record in site and civil engineering.

Dewberry offers a comprehensive and very competitive package of insurance programs for regular full‑time employees and their eligible dependents, effective the first of the month following hire. The insurance package includes medical, dental, vision, and supplemental life. Additional insurances—at no cost—include life (employee only), accidental death and dismemberment, business travel and accident, and short‑ and long‑term disability. Employees pay a share of Dewberry’s premium expenses (pre‑tax) for medical and dental plans.

Positions within the officer program are also eligible for an annual bonus and monthly stipend, both varying by level and performance. Certain positions are also eligible for overtime pay, whereas all non‑exempt positions are eligible for overtime (subject to approval). The projected range for this position is $109,550 to $125,200 annually. Depending upon other factors—skills, experience, location, market conditions—the range may vary slightly. These ranges are for Baltimore, MD only.
