Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. seeks a Civil Engineer to design and develop civil/site plans for land development projects in Pittsburgh. You will handle grading, drainage, utility design, erosion control, and stormwater management.

You will assist with permitting, coordinate with municipalities, prepare reports and construction documents, and support senior engineers on larger projects. Requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, EIT or PE, and AutoCAD Civil 3D experience.

Qualifications

• 2–20 years civil engineering experience, preferably with land development/site design.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• EIT certification or PE license.
• Experience with land development, site design, grading, drainage, and utility design.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal design standards and permitting requirements.
• Proficiency with Auto CAD Civil 3D or similar civil design software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a project team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Perform site layout and grading calculations
• Assist with permitting and coordination with local municipalities and regulatory agencies
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, specifications, and construction documents
• Coordinate with surveyors, architects, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders
• Review plans and specifications for accuracy and compliance with applicable standards
