Essential Duties And Responsibilities (other Duties May Be Assigned)
- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop design concepts, plans, and specifications for site/civil land engineering projects.
- Conduct site investigations and surveys to gather data necessary for project planning and design.
- Assist in the preparation of engineering calculations, drawings, and technical reports.
- Perform take-offs and cost estimates for materials and labor.
- Utilize engineering software and tools for analysis and design tasks.
- Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with team members and clients.
- Assist in construction oversight, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to contribute innovative solutions to projects.

Education And/or Experience
- At least three (3) years of experience working in civil engineering.
- Experience in land development is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree with a focus on civil engineering is preferred.
- To perform this job successfully an individual should have knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.
- Experience with or ability to learn HydroCAD stormwater modeling software.
Licenses And Designations
- EIT certification with ability to become a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
Physical Demands And Work Environment
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment
- This is largely a sedentary role but would require the ability to move up to 25 pounds at times.
- This role operates in an office environment and is required to work 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- This role may be required to work extended hours to meet the needs of the business.
