Job summary

RS&H, Inc. in Tampa, FL, is seeking a Civil Engineer to join the growing Aviation team. You will lead multidisciplinary design efforts on aviation and civil infrastructure projects, collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver on time and within budget.

This leadership role emphasizes mentoring junior staff, business development, and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams across phases from planning to delivery. A PE license or ability to obtain within six months is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Minimum of 5 years of civil engineering experience, including at least 2 years in civil engineering project design.
• Florida Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Demonstrated experience managing aviation or transportation infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel to client sites throughout the region.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Maintain and grow client relationships with local and national aviation partners.
• Support business development, including proposal preparation and client presentations.
• Mentor and develop junior team members to promote technical excellence.

We are currently seeking a Civil Engineer to join our expanding Tampa, FL office. This is a dynamic leadership opportunity to work on a wide range of civil and aviation-related infrastructure projects, including local assignments for the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority (HCAA) and large-scale airport initiatives across the country.

Role Summary

As a Civil Engineer, you'll lead multidisciplinary teams through all phases of planning, design, and delivery of complex projects. You'll play a key role in business development, project execution, and client relationship management—while also helping to mentor junior staff and contribute to the growth of our Tampa Aviation team.
