Job summary

RS&H, Inc. in Tampa, FL invites applications for a Civil Engineer / Project Manager to lead aviation and civil infrastructure projects across the region. You will guide multidisciplinary teams from planning through delivery in collaboration with local clients and partners.

The role emphasizes leadership, client relationship management, and mentorship, with opportunities to influence project scope, schedules, and budgets while advancing RS&H’s aviation footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Minimum of 7 years of civil engineering experience, including at least 3 years in project design.
• Florida Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience managing aviation or transportation infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and manage aviation and civil infrastructure projects.
• Oversee stormwater, utility infrastructure, and pavement design and assessments.
• Manage construction support services, including construction management and inspection.
• Lead and coordinate large, multi-disciplinary design teams.
• Prepare engineering plans, specifications, reports, and permit applications.
• Analyze design alternatives, technical data, cost estimates, and project schedules.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Maintain and grow client relationships with local and national aviation partners.
• Support business development, including proposal preparation and client presentations.
• Mentor and develop junior team members to promote technical excellence.
