Job summary

Parkhill is seeking a Site Development & Planning Civil Engineer-in-Training in Texas to assist in planning, design, and execution of land development projects under licensed engineers. You will contribute to engineering documents, calculations, and analyses for commercial, municipal, and mixed-use developments.

This full-time, exempt role focuses on building foundational technical skills while delivering compliant, constructible site solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
• EIT certification obtained or in process.
• 2+ years of experience preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with city staff and agencies for data collection.
• Support basic design and calculations for site grading, drainage analysis, utilities, and paving improvements.
• Assist in developing construction plans, specifications, and Opinions of Probable Costs.
• Collaborate with team on design specifications and timelines.
• Perform field observation work when necessary under minimal supervision.
