Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Civil Designer specialized in grading earthwork and pipeline design for mining projects within the Water division. The role involves collaboration with engineers and project managers on diverse heavy civil challenges, including tailing storage facilities and site development.

The ideal candidate has experience with complex surface modeling and CAD tools, mentoring junior staff, and preparing drawings and specifications in line with project requirements.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in engineering or related field required.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and develop engineering drawings through completion for assigned projects per discipline criteria.
• Complete design assignments of moderate complexity under supervision.
• Develop engineering drawings using project specifications and established standards.
• Prepare detailed calculation packages for earthwork quantities and site grading.
• Assist in data management of survey and client data through the project lifecycle.
• Lead CAD technology within the project team.
