Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• FE/EIT certification is required or eligible to sit for PE where allowed by state rules.
• Experience designing land development projects using Civil 3D.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Use independent judgment to prepare design calculations and engineering analyses across civil systems (drainage, water distribution, wastewater, sediment control, and pavement design).
• Prepare portions of plans, specifications, reports, studies, cost estimates, and permit applications.
• Anticipate and resolve problems to maintain schedule and quality.
• Prepare drawings and details using CADD tools and company standards; produce graphic elements for moderately complex projects.
• Assist Project Engineer/PM with cost proposals, schedules, and estimates.
• Maintain moderate client contact; attend meetings with clients, contractors, or agencies as directed.
• Coordinate with project team to determine schedule and budget requirements.
• Receive direction on complex problems and undergo mentoring toward PE licensure.
