V3 Companies LTD in Woodridge, IL is seeking a Civil Engineer with a focus on water resources to join our growing team. You will work on water resources projects, perform stormwater analysis, prepare reports and design plans, and help ensure regulatory compliance on site inspections when needed.

Required: degree in Civil Engineering with 3–5 years in water resources; CAD/GIS experience (MicroStation preferred); familiarity with HEC-RAS, TR-20 and XPSWMM is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degreed Civil Engineer with 3–5 years in Water Resources.
• Experience with CADD and GIS; MicroStation preferred.
• Familiarity with modeling/design tools such as HEC-RAS, TR-20, XPSWMM preferred but not required.
• EIT or ability to earn EIT is required.
• CFM or ability to earn CFM status is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Water resources and stormwater analysis modeling and design.

• Participating in watershed, environmental, and wetland projects for private and public sector clients.
• Preparing reports, design plan sets, specifications, and cost estimates.

Key Responsibilities

• CFM or ability to earn CFM status is preferred.
• Basic understanding of federal, state, and local stormwater and floodplain permitting requirements preferred.
• Understanding of civil engineering technical design related to water resources, transportation, structural, or site development.
