Responsibilities

• Lead engineering tasks related to floodplain and floodway studies, stormwater management, and drainage design.
• Involvement across the project cycle: watershed analysis, drainage studies, hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, sketching, detailed design, and bid documents.
• Conduct field activities during design and construction oversight.
• Support business development through client engagement, proposals, and local strategy.
• Contribute as a member/leader of multidisciplinary teams to improve stormwater infrastructure.

Salary Range: $90,000.00 To $115,000.00 Annually

V3 Companies, a multidisciplinary AEC firm, is seeking a professional engineer (4+ years’ experience) in our Central Ohio office, where you will contribute to career-defining projects that reimagine our built and natural world.

You’ll change the shape of your community by modernizing systems that protect public health and the environment. And, as a part of our Floodplain and Stormwater Management (FSM) team, you’ll be a key team member in the delivery of complex stormwater projects to protect and support communities. Your work will predominantly focus locally in Central Ohio but you will collaborate with 500 designers, engineers, and scientists across North America through our seamless One Team model.

What You’ll Do

• Be a project level leader for engineering tasks related to floodplain and floodway studies, stormwater management, and drainage design
• Engage throughout the project cycle including watershed analysis, drainage studies, hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, sketching, detailed design, report writing and preparation of bid documents
• Engage in field activities both during design and as part of construction oversight
• Participate in business development; client and industry engagement, local strategy, project development and proposals.
• Be a key member or leader of multi‑disciplinary teams comprised of engineers, planners, landscape architects, surveyors and administrators helping improve stormwater infrastructure.
• Build strong industry and community relationships
• Actively engage in V3’s local and company culture which is built around employee and client experience, career growth and community service

• Graduates of four-year civilor environmentalengineering degree
• Experience in the design and construction administration of floodplain, floodwater, or water resources projects.
• Licensed professional engineer
• Working knowledge of ArcGIS and Civil3D
