Job summary

Bowman in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Civil Designer I to join our team. You will transform sketches into CAD drawings, using Civil3D and Bentley tools to design land development projects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent commensurate experience required.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• Entry level position; no prior experience required.
• Drafting/engineering technician experience in land development is a plus.
• Proficiency with Civil3D and Bentley software; ability to read construction plans.
• Design experience with TINs/3D surfaces, grading, drainage, water/sewer and roadway plans.

Responsibilities

• Transform initial sketches and rough designs into working CAD documents.
• Use Civil3D (2018) and related tools to complete design work.
• Assist in developing and reviewing civil drawings to meet specifications and standards.
• Support senior staff and management with clients, agencies, and design teams on moderately complex issues.
• Collaborate with the project manager to determine if scope or budgets require revision.
