Job summary

Olsson provides multidisciplinary, preliminary, and construction design services across diverse land development projects. As a Civil Design Manager, you will lead QA/QC, perform senior design reviews, and manage project staff on technical aspects.

Travel to job sites and working in varied terrains may be required. You will supervise and guide less experienced staff, promote quality efficiencies, and serve as a senior resource for client projects while developing expertise in designated design

Associate Degree in Drafting.
10 years of CAD software experience (AutoCAD Civil 3D).

Responsibilities

Directs and manages staff on technical aspects of projects including coordination with all disciplines involved on projects.
Plans and oversees the quality review process of project deliverables.
Provides a consultative resource to clients for project resolution.
Strengthens and further develops subject matter expertise in certain design areas.
Provides senior-level design review for various projects on the team and acts as a resource for technical issues.
May assist in the preparation of project studies by completing drawings, sketching, or acquiring data.
Promotes efficiencies in producing quality work.
Supervises and reviews assignments of less experienced staff.
