Job summary

Tech Verses is seeking an energetic civil & construction engineer intern to support launch and test operations and manufacturing. You will design facilities for propulsion test stands, create 3D models, and generate P&IDs and layouts to enable efficient workflows.

Responsibilities include managing projects from concept to sign-off, planning and budgeting tasks, and coordinating with contractors and vendors to hit milestones.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing mechanical engineering, civil engineering, construction management or related technical field.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Experience with 3D CAD.
• Basic knowledge of construction and engineering principles.
• Ownership of technical projects from start to finish with minimal supervision.
• Coursework includes thermodynamics, heat transfer and fluid mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Design facilities and infrastructure to support propulsion test stands, including 3D modeling of structures, fluids and structural analysis, fabrication drawings, fluids P&IDs, and layout.
• Assist in managing projects from concept through construction, commissioning and signoff.
• Engage in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and documentation tasks.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to meet milestones.
• Learn and apply MEP design principles for efficient manufacturing and office layouts.
• Gain exposure to industry standards, building codes, and manufacturing best practices.
