Bohler’s Columbus, OH office is seeking a Design Engineer to grow within a collaborative team shaping Central Ohio’s land development. You’ll support projects from concept to completion, working with engineers, project managers, and clients to deliver practical, buildable solutions.

You’ll contribute to site layout, permitting efforts, and drafting tasks while expanding your design toolkit and knowledge in Civil 3D. This role offers mentorship, hands-on experience, and a clear path for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 2+ years of site design experience on residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and basic engineering design principles.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of site layout, grading, utility, and stormwater management plans.
• Conduct research, prepare reports, and support due diligence investigations.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and team members to deliver coordinated design packages.
• Perform design calculations and drafting using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Support permitting efforts with local and state agencies.
• Contribute ideas and enthusiasm to solve engineering challenges.
