Job summary

ERG is seeking a Civil Engineer to support planning, design, and execution of facility and infrastructure projects. This position requires proximity to the Washington, DC metropolitan area to attend frequent on-site client and team meetings.

The role involves developing and reviewing engineering plans, calculations, and technical documents, collaborating with engineers, architects, and project managers, and ensuring compliance with DoD and other applicable codes. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Experience drafting or reviewing engineering drawings, specs, calculations and reports.
• Familiarity with civil/site design principles including grading, drainage, and utilities.
• Must currently hold or be able to obtain a DoD security clearance and be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, design, and engineering of facility/site improvement projects.
• Develop and review civil engineering plans, specifications, calculations, and technical documents.
• Assist with site layouts, grading, drainage, utilities, paving, and other civil infrastructure.
• Prepare calculations, cost estimates, reports, and design documentation.
• Review contractor submittals and construction plans for compliance.
• Assist in evaluating existing facilities and recommend repairs or upgrades.
