Metro Associates in California's Inland Empire seeks an experienced Civil Design Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team on land development projects. You will take grading and land development plans from concept through final design, coordinating with other engineers and specialists.

The ideal candidate has a BSCE, 4+ years in land development, and proven ability to develop grading plans, subdivision layouts, and roadway/drainage design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years in land development or 8 years equivalent experience.
• Ability to develop grading plans from concept to final plans.
• Experience with subdivision and land development plans.
• Knowledge of roadway, drainage, earthwork, and site development.
• Familiar with jurisdictional codes, standards, and Inland Empire region.
• AutoCAD / Civil 3D experience required.

We are seeking an experienced Civil Design Engineer to join a multidisciplinary engineering team in the Inland Empire region of California.

This position offers the opportunity to work on meaningful and high-impact land development projects, collaborating with experienced professionals across multiple disciplines. The ideal candidate will have strong civil design experience and the ability to take grading and land development plans from conceptual design through final plan preparation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare grading plans from conceptual design through final plans.
• Prepare and process maps and plans for subdivision and land development projects.
• Perform roadway design, drainage design, and earthwork calculations.
• Apply engineering principles and best practices to civil and land development projects.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable jurisdictional codes, standards, and procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
• Support projects throughout the design, review, and approval process.
