Job summary

Goldstone Partners, Inc. is seeking a senior engineering leader in Centennial, CO to guide a multidiscipline department through strategic growth. You will mentor leaders, shape technical direction, and ensure projects meet quality and profitability targets.

You will own budgets, staffing plans, utilization, and go/no-go decisions for new opportunities while strengthening client relationships and driving business performance. PE licensure and 14+ years of experience are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Project Managers, Engineers, and Designers, fostering accountability and collaboration.
• Own financial performance and profitability of all projects in the department.
• Develop and manage department budgets, staffing plans, and utilization targets.
• Make go/no-go decisions on new opportunities and assign projects strategically.
• Ensure projects meet technical, quality, budget, and schedule standards.
• Oversee billing, AR, and margin protection across the department.
• Strengthen client relationships and pursue repeat and new work opportunities.
• Support contract development and negotiations with executive leadership.
• Champion continuing education and professional growth within the team.

What you’ll bring to the role:

• PE licensure and 14+ years of relevant engineering experience, including 5+ years as a Project Manager
• Demonstrated success driving project profitability and department-level financial performance
• Experience supervising and developing engineers at multiple levels
• Strong understanding of budgeting, staffing, utilization metrics, and resource allocation
• The confidence and presence to serve as the technical and professional leader of your discipline
• Strategic thinking paired with hands-on execution
