Job summary

Westinghouse's WECTEC Staffing Services is seeking a seasoned Civil Construction Supervisor to oversee civil activities for a greenfield power generation project in Earth, TX. This role involves coordinating earthwork, foundations, roads, drainage, and underground utilities, and aligning work with contractual and design requirements.

You will review survey layouts, conduct quality inspections with ArcGIS and Survey123, and document results in Xcel Energy systems while maintaining safety,

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of civil construction oversight experience.
• Experience in power plants, industrial facilities, or large infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with surveying, concrete placement, and earthwork inspections.
• 1+ years of experience with ArcGIS, Survey123, or Procore preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee civil construction activities, including earthwork, concrete foundations, roads, drainage, and underground utilities.
• Review and verify survey layouts, elevations, and asbuilt conditions.
• Perform quality inspections using ArcGIS / Survey123.
• Ensure work complies with civil drawings, specifications, and geotechnical requirements.
• Document inspection results and deficiencies in Xcel Energy systems.
• Participate in daily POD meetings and coordination efforts.
• Maintain safety and quality standards across active civil work zones.
• Support schedule coordination and milestone readiness.
