Job summary

Gulf Coast Utility Contractors seeks a Civil Construction Project Manager to lead projects in ECambia County, FL and surrounding areas. You will plan, coordinate, and oversee construction from initiation to closeout, ensuring on‑time delivery, budget adherence, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include bidding reviews, cost control, vendor and subcontractor management, and client communication. Travel to active sites is expected; strong teamwork and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction project management experience.
• Proven experience managing industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and project management principles.
• Proficient use of Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience with Bluebeam, Procore, Primavera P6 or similar tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality, cost, and schedule requirements.
• Manage project documentation, contracts, permits, and change orders.
• Review bids, estimates, contracts, and change orders.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings while maintaining quality.
• Lead project teams, including site supervisors, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Facilitate project meetings and provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Monitor performance to ensure project objectives are achieved.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction activities.
• Address construction issues, delays, and risks proactively.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
• Provide regular project progress reports and updates.
• Manage client expectations and address concerns promptly.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and contractors.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, schedules, and reports.
• Ensure proper project closeout documentation and handover.
