Qualifications

  • 3+ years of construction project management experience.
  • Proven experience managing industrial or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods and project management principles.
  • Proficient use of Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience with Bluebeam, Procore, Primavera P6 or similar tools is a plus.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
  • Provide regular project progress reports and updates.
  • Manage client expectations and address concerns promptly.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and contractors.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, schedules, and reports.
  • Ensure proper project closeout documentation and handover.

Job Title: Civil Construction Project Manager

Job Location: Ecambia County, FL and surrounding counties

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

Position Summary

The Civil Construction Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects from initiation through completion. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all applicable regulations, quality standards, and contract requirements. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact among clients, contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Management
  • Coordinate all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
  • Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions when necessary
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality, cost, and schedule requirements.
  • Manage project documentation, contracts, permits, and change orders.
Budget and Cost Control
  • Review bids, estimates, contracts, and change orders.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings while maintaining project quality.
  • Manage contract negotiations and vendor relationships.
Team Leadership and Coordination
  • Lead project teams, including site supervisors, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Facilitate project meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
  • Monitor performance to ensure project objectives are achieved.
Site Oversight and Quality Assurance
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction activities.
  • Address construction issues, delays, and risks proactively.
Client and Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
  • Provide regular project progress reports and updates.
  • Manage client expectations and address concerns promptly.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, and contractors.
Documentation and Reporting
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, contracts, schedules, and reports.
  • Ensure proper project closeout documentation and handover.
Qualifications
