Job summary

Prince Contracting, LLC is seeking a Civil Engineer with 5–8 years of civil construction experience in Florida to support project management and field operations.

You will review contracts, assist the Project Manager and Superintendent, prepare schedules, manage document control, and coordinate with subcontractors while ensuring accurate reporting and cost forecasting. Strong communication and proficiency with Excel, Word, and Primavera P6 are essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Construction Engineering and Management (CEM).
• 5–8 years of civil construction experience (office/field).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, Primavera P6.

Responsibilities

• Review contract and specifications in their entirety.
• Assist Project Manager and Project Superintendent as requested.
• Assist with all schedule preparations and updates.
• Assist with quantity reporting, project costs and forecasting.
• Obtain pricing from subcontractors and vendors to include change orders.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and workforce to resolve project challenges and conflicts.
• Assist with monthly billing, cash flow projections, and change order processing.
• Manage document control to include submittal schedules, contract documents, project record drawings, etc.
