Job summary

HBC Engineering Co is seeking a Construction Inspector - Project Administrator in New York to support construction engineering and inspection for transportation and civil infrastructure projects. This role involves field coordination, inspection documentation, and communication with contractors and clients.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree and two years of related experience, strong project management and interpersonal skills, and is proficient with various software applications. Remote work flexibility and professional development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Two years of engineering experience in construction of major road or bridge structures.
• Ability to walk over rough terrain and stand as needed.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction inspection summaries of daily activities.
• Manage team of inspectors and coordinate schedules.
• Verify dimensions and calculations of prepared and completed work.
• Maintain project records in accordance with FDOT procedures.

Education

Civil Engineering degree
