TIC - The Industrial Company seeks a skilled equipment operator to handle power construction equipment for excavation, movement, and grading tasks on roads and rights‑of‑way in Texas. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and adherence to project specs.

Responsibilities include loading materials, trenching for utilities, and training others in proper operation. Candidate should be able to work outdoors in all weather, overtime, nights, and weekends as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong working knowledge of equipment operation.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Proficiency with electrical, hand, power, and layout tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles and heavy equipment while maintaining roads and rights‑of‑way.
• Load gravel, dirt and sand; smooth and grade roads.
• Trench and construct ditches for culverts, water and sewer pipes.
• Check and maintain all fluid levels and lubrication.
• Instruct and train employees in safe operation and job techniques.
• Inspect equipment and structures for defects.
• Estimate sizes, distances, quantities, and time/costs.
• Review subordinate's work for contract compliance and correct issues.
