Job summary

Consor is seeking a Roadway CAD Technician to provide drafting support across municipal and transportation projects in Oklahoma City. You will refine design drawings, support project teams, and ensure conformance with DOT standards while contributing to design development from conceptual layouts to permitting documentation.

Ideal candidates have CAD/drafting training, experience in transportation projects, and strong AutoCAD/Civil 3D skills.

Qualifications

Relevant training in CAD, drafting, or design technology or equivalent real-world experience.
Experience with transportation engineering, preferably DOT.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D (or MicroStation/OpenRoads) and plan production.

Responsibilities

Review roadway, drainage, traffic control, and utility plans to develop accurate design drawings.
Prepare and revise roadway design plans and profiles using CAD software.
Produce plan sets coordinating with engineers and design teams for DOT standards.
Maintain engineering documentation supporting design, permitting, and construction.
Create and modify alignments and corridor models using Civil 3D.
Perform quality control reviews for drafting accuracy and standards compliance.
Coordinate with survey, drainage, and transportation teams to resolve conflicts.
Support construction plans and exhibits for public and private projects.
