Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Project Engineer for a Massachusetts civil construction client to prepare detailed CAD drawings, surface models, and site layouts for highway and runway projects. The role includes field GPS surveying, data collection, and coordination with project managers and estimators.

Responsibilities include CAD file management, quantity take-offs, and producing DXF/point files. AutoCAD/ Civil 3D proficiency and prior surveying experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Associate degree plus two years relevant CAD, surveying, or field operations experience.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience strongly preferred.
• Prior survey experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed CAD drawings, DXF files, and surface models for projects.
• Support project managers and estimators on bids.
• Perform GPS survey and field layout on job sites.
• Manage revision-controlled CAD files and deliverables.
• Provide quantity take-offs and support cost estimates.
