Job summary

The role emphasizes AutoCAD Civil 3D, stormwater design, and coordination with clients and sub-consultants. You will mentor junior staff, manage multiple projects, and ensure compliance with MADEP/NHDES regulations while delivering high-quality plans on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required.
• 3–5 years of experience performing similar duties.
• EIT certification required; PE licensure in MA and/or NH preferred, or actively progressing toward it.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D including core utilities.
• HydroCAD proficiency and working knowledge of MADEP/NHDES stormwater regulations.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage workload across multiple concurrent projects with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare site development plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D with core utilities (styles, labels, surfaces, parcels, alignments, profiles, corridors, sections).
• Design stormwater drainage to MADEP/NHDES standards, including hydrologic/hydraulic modeling with HydroCAD.
• Create grading, utility, and erosion control designs.
• Prepare permit application materials and supporting documentation for local, state, and federal agencies.
• Coordinate with surveyors, landscape architects, environmental consultants, and other sub-consultants.
