Job summary

The EADS Group's Somerset, PA office is seeking a full-time CAD Technician to support the Survey Department with detailed drafting and data processing. The ideal candidate has an Associate degree or post-secondary training in drafting and design and 2-5 years of experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

You will review rough sketches, plot drawings from field information and survey data, and develop plans for utilities and water/sewage systems.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate will have an Associate degree or post-secondary training in drafting and design.
• Two to five years' experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D or equivalent.
• Aptitude and interest in surveying and survey-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Review rough sketches, drawings, and specifications, plotting from field information and survey data.
• Develop plans and profiles for utility lines, water distribution, and sewage collection systems.
