Job summary

The EADS Group's Somerset, PA office is seeking a full-time CAD Technician to support the Survey Department with detailed drafting and data processing. The role involves reviewing sketches and survey data to produce elevations, cross-sections, and mapping, along with developing plans for utility systems.

The ideal candidate will have an associate degree in drafting and design, 2–5 years' experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, and an interest in surveying tasks.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or post-secondary training in drafting and design from a technical trade school.
• 2–5 years' experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D software or equivalent training.
• Interest and aptitude for surveying tasks.

Responsibilities

• Review rough sketches, drawings, and survey data to produce elevations, cross-sections, mapping and field support.
• Develop plans and profiles for utility lines, water distribution, and sewer systems to be incorporated into projects.
