NV5 is seeking a Civil CAD Designer to contribute to construction drawings for natural gas transmission, distribution pipelines, substations, and electrical projects. You will create layouts, elevations, schematics, and wiring diagrams under guidance from engineers.

The role emphasizes collaboration on a team of designers and engineers, applying CAD software to develop accurate documents and maintain design records while building experience and advancing professionally.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in the utility, electrical, or civil industry.
• Fundamental training in CAD software including CAD Suite, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Revit.
• Positive attitude and ability to collaborate with others.

Responsabilités

• Use AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation to produce construction documents.
• Confer with design engineers to resolve problems and finalize drawings.
• Learn quantity take-offs and maintain design records and files.
• Work under supervision and progress toward independent judgment.
