Job summary

RESPEC seeks a Civil CAD Designer located in Tampa, Sarasota, or Ft. Myers, Florida. The designer will provide drafting and design support for civil engineering projects, including site development, municipal infrastructure, and utility design, in a collaborative office environment.

Key responsibilities include creating civil drawings with AutoCAD Civil 3D, preparing site and road plans, coordinating with engineers and project managers, and maintaining file organization and design standards.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or technical certification in drafting, engineering technology, or related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering drafting and design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, including surfaces, alignments, profiles, corridors, and pipe networks.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record; position requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business-related travel.

Responsibilities

RESPEC seeks a Civil Computer Aided Design (CAD) Designer located in Tampa, Sarasota, or Ft. Myers, Florida.

The Civil CAD Designer will provide drafting and design support for civil engineering projects, including site development, municipal infrastructure, and utility design. Projects will vary in size and complexity and be produced in a collaborative office environment alongside project managers, engineers, and other design professionals.
