Job summary

Carollo Engineers, Inc. seeks an experienced civil designer to develop site plans with grading, paving and drainage. You will work from survey data to create DTMs, establish piping alignments, and coordinate multi-discipline modelings and drawings.

The role requires 5–10 years in engineering design, strong communication, and knowledge of AWWA/ANSI standards, Civil3D proficiency, and BIM awareness. On-site in Hawaii, flexible work arrangements may be available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5–10 years’ experience in engineering design.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic knowledge of industry pipe standards such as AWWA and ANSI B16.
• Intermediate Civil3D drawing development.
• Fundamental BIM knowledge for civil piping design.

Responsibilities

• Develop scaled civil site plans with grading, paving, and drainage.
• Generate Digital Terrain Models (DTM) from survey files.
• Establish piping alignments for site and linear projects.
• Coordinate modeling and drawing production across disciplines.
• Provide basic CAD support to junior staff.
• Quality check drafted products against standards.
