Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Site Civil Digital Design Specialist to contribute to our site civil discipline by building and maintaining BIM models and deliverables. You will be guided by an engineer and use Civil 3D to produce accurate diagrams, layouts, and drawings aligned with project scope.

You will collaborate across teams and apply a solid understanding of engineering or architectural concepts, ensuring model integrity and coordination across disciplines for successful project delivery.

Qualifications

Technical degree or 3+ years related industry experience.
Proficient with 3D design software and document management infrastructure.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and communication tools.
Experience with 3D Coordination tools.
Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
Intermediate understanding of engineering or architectural concepts.

Responsibilities

Model discipline elements using Civil 3D per the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP).
Create and maintain the discipline model, systems, content, and output for the discipline.
Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and diagrams within project scope, schedule, and budget using Civil 3D.
Maintain the discipline model including project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, and sheets.
Produce discipline-specific documentation with accurate annotations on all modeling output.
