Job summary

HDR is seeking a Civil BIM (Digital Delivery) Coordinator to lead digital delivery efforts on complex projects in Madison, Wisconsin. You will manage the digital model environment, coordinate across disciplines, and ensure high-quality deliverables through design reviews and 3D coordination.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of BIM design experience, strong software skills (Revit, Navisworks), and familiarity with document management systems.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or combination of education and industry experience.
• 5+ years digital design (BIM element authoring) experience.
• Understanding of discipline interactions and building systems operations.
• Advanced 3D design software tools and document management infrastructure.
• Advanced 3D coordination tools and MS Office familiarity.
• Familiar with industry standards, discipline codes, and specs.
• Strong client service, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the digital model environment and deliverables for the project.
• Understand how disciplines interact and how docs are produced.
• Collaborate with Digital Delivery Leads to execute deliverables in the DDP.
• Initiate project setup including server, discipline models, and deliverables.
• Execute deliverables and support production team throughout project duration.
• Provide technical support and communicate deliverable schedules.
• Monitor model health and coordination processes from planning to construction docs.
• Develop and maintain the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP).
• Establish and maintain document management system and server infra for multi-discipline projects.
• Ensure team has required software, versions, access, and training.
• Create model setup with coordinates, scales, views, sheets, etc.
• Host coordination meetings for Design Reviews and 3D coordination.
• Communicate and compile all project digital deliverables and exchange processes.
• Archive project at submittals and closeout.
