Job summary

Consor in Dallas is seeking a Roadway CAD Technician to deliver high-quality design drawings for municipal and transportation projects. You will refine plan sets using AutoCAD and Civil 3D, coordinate with engineers and PMs, and support project delivery through drafting standards and QA.

This role emphasizes attention to detail, collaboration, and the ability to move drawings from concept to permit-ready documents.

Qualifications

• Training or experience in CAD, drafting, or design technology.
• Experience in transportation engineering, preferably TxDOT.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D; familiarity with MicroStation or OpenRoads is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review roadway, drainage, traffic control, and utility plans to develop design drawings and documents.
• Prepare and revise roadway design plans and corridor models using CAD software.
• Produce plan sets in coordination with engineers and design teams; ensure compliance with standards.
