Job summary

The City of Philadelphia’s Office of Innovation & Technology seeks an experienced Producer to own day-to-day production for PHLgovTV’s original launch series and related content. You will independently field-produce, script, and supervise edits, and help prepare guests and materials for exposure across platforms.

You will support live government coverage and collaborate with the Senior Producer to manage the PSA pipeline, including bilingual EN/ES versions, while maintaining strong editorial

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, film/TV production, or related field — or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of professional video/TV production experience with demonstrable producing credits.
• Experience producing interviews or public affairs content preferred; municipal, PEG, or nonprofit media experience a plus.
• Philadelphia civic knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the episode pipeline for the assigned series: research, outlines, rundowns, scripts, guest prep.
• Write, produce, and deliver 90-second PSAs, including bilingual EN/ES versions.
• Produce interstitials in quarterly batches with the Multiplatform Producer.
• Support live Mayor's Press conferences and City Council hearing coverage.
• Book, brief, and manage guests including pre-interviews and briefing documents.
• Maintain episode records and ensure ADA captioning timelines.
