Job summary

City of Philadelphia’s Office of Innovation & Technology seeks an Executive Producer to launch and sustain an original programming schedule for PHLgovTV. You will manage live broadcasts, field production, and distribution across cable, livestream, YouTube, Roku, Apple TV and social media.

The role requires strong editorial judgment, hands‑on leadership, and a deep familiarity with Philadelphia’s neighborhoods, civic institutions, and public‑interest journalism.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Film/Television Production, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional television, video, or broadcast production experience.
• Experience producing original programming on a recurring schedule and managing a production team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain PHLgovTV’s editorial identity and standards across all original programming and live broadcasts.
• Direct and supervise production staff; coordinate shoots, post‑production deadlines, and publishing schedules.
• Coordinate with government proceedings coverage and ensure accessibility and archival integrity.
• Develop relationships with community partners and oversee content distribution across multiple platforms.
• Lead KPI tracking and reporting for ongoing production performance.
