Job summary

The City of Philadelphia seeks an Executive Producer to lead PHLgovTV’s editorial and production strategy, launching three new series and managing live broadcasts across cable, livestream, and OTT platforms. The role oversees a four-person team and collaborates with city agencies to meet editorial standards and accessibility requirements.

Qualifications

• Editorial standards for public-affairs journalism and civic programming.
• Proven experience producing original programming on a recurring schedule.
• Ability to lead small production teams and manage partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Maintain editorial identity and journalistic standards across original programming.
• Develop season plans, episode concepts, and rundowns for inaugural series.
• Write or oversee scripts, interview questions, and guest briefings.
• Oversee live broadcasts, field production, and post-production workflows.
• Coordinate with civic partners and ensure accessibility and archival requirements.
