Job summary

MOREgroup is seeking a dynamic Principal to lead and expand its Civic practice in the Dallas/Fort Worth market. The role drives growth, acts as a trusted client advisor, and elevates MOREgroup as an industry leader in the region.

The Principal will provide design leadership, oversee multi-disciplinary teams, ensure project delivery on schedule and budget, and mentor staff while maintaining technical excellence and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Professional degree from an accredited architectural program.
• Texas license required; active licensure preferred for leadership.
• Minimum 15+ years in architecture with Civic project experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide design leadership and ensure teams deliver aligned with design vision.
• Oversee project delivery across design through construction administration.
• Mentor and lead architects and designers within the Texas market.
• Maintain knowledge of codes, materials, costs, and regulations.
• Serve as trusted client advisor and manage stakeholder communications.
• Support business development and strategic planning in designated markets.
