Alta Planning + Design seeks a Civic Analytics Task Manager for its Portland office. The role leads technical execution and project delivery for data-driven planning, advises junior analysts, and develops new methods and tools to advance sustainable community and transportation solutions.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in one of Alta's core disciplines or a bachelor's in statistics, engineering, math, or the social sciences.
• 5+ years of geospatial analysis experience for transportation/planning; at least 2 years leading tasks or projects.
• Advanced proficiency with Python/R, ArcGIS Pro, and Excel.

Aufgaben

• Manage tasks and oversee technical work from start to finish, including scoping, staffing, budgeting, and review of deliverables.
• Lead technical work by developing methods in Python/R and GIS; build analytics solutions for accessibility, demand modeling, and mobility planning.
• Communicate with clients and project partners; lead meetings and presentations across active transportation plans, Vision Zero, curbside management, and related topics.
• Develop analytical scope language and coordinate Civic Analytics contributions to proposals and pre-analysis work.
• Develop new tools and methods; integrate new approaches into scoping, implementation, and training at Alta.
• Mentor junior staff, review notebooks/scripts, and lead trainings as needed.
