Job summary

The City of Hutto is seeking a Project Manager – Strategic Operations to lead the Strategic Operations program under the Assistant City Manager. You will coordinate enterprise-wide initiatives, oversee cross-department projects, and develop KPIs to improve performance and service delivery.

You will supervise staff, facilitate collaboration, analyze data, benchmark programs, and prepare reports for executive leadership and City Council.

Qualifications

Experience leading enterprise-level project management initiatives.
Ability to develop KPI dashboards and executive reporting.
Strong background in process improvement and change management.
Knowledge of municipal government operations and public administration.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate the implementation of the City's Strategic Plan and executive initiatives.
Manage cross-department projects from planning through implementation with risk management.
Develop and maintain organizational performance programs, including KPIs and reporting.
Analyze performance data and service delivery metrics to drive improvements.
Lead continuous improvement and process optimization across departments.
Prepare reports, presentations, and policy recommendations for leadership and City Council.
Evaluate technologies and AI applications to enhance performance and customer service.
