Job summary

Caesars Entertainment in Las Vegas, NV seeks a Citywide Banquet Pastry Chef Tournant to supervise kitchen staff in the absence of the Executive Pastry Banquet Chef and foster a sanitary, productive, team-oriented environment. You will provide citywide Banquet culinary support to Las Vegas properties.

Proven leadership in a high-volume pastry operation, English communication skills, and two years of supervisory experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must have effective communication in English, both verbal and written.
• Minimum of two years’ experience as line level Supervisor or Chef in specialty room, Casual Dining or Buffet.
• Two-year Culinary Arts School or equivalent training preferred.
• Must present a neat and professional appearance.
• Flexible to work various shifts.
• Food Safety Employee Training required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise kitchen staff in assigned outlets in absence of the Executive Pastry Banquet Chef.
• Provide citywide Banquet culinary support to all Las Vegas properties.
• Ensure quality food product and presentations.
• Teach and develop staff while serving a consistent product with pride.
• Maintain food cost, labor cost and expenses within budget guidelines.
• Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to policies.
• Cook and create new, innovative and imaginative recipes.
• React quickly to resolve problems.
